Just Acia holds a lot of nostalgia for me, especially because I remember it as the place to go for affordable set meals and free flow drinks and ice cream when I was a secondary school student. It is unfortunate to hear that Just Acia closed its longstanding outlet at Dhoby Ghaut xchange, but I believe you can still find it at Pasir Ris, as well as Bedok (where I went). Possibly because the food seems like a classic canteen style food that does not focus on quality but rather, affordability, which has made it less enticing. Furthermore, with inflation, prices cannot safely say that they are affordable, as compared to hawker centre prices.

I went for the spicy chicken and fried gyoza set, which honestly surprised me. Granted the gyoza was that of frozen gyoza that can be said was subpar, especially because it was not crisp enough, the spicy chicken was pretty good. The spicy sauce was flavourful andโ€ฆ really spicy, which went very well with the white rice and kimchi. Overall, the portion was decent, and I think what will make the price you pay truly worth it is if you get your fill of drinks and ice cream. The drinks range from soft drinks to coffee, and the ice cream flavours rotate each time. There is a slight hassle due to the pandemic regulations when it comes to taking the free flow items, but do be patient as service staff would need time to attend to your requests.
