read about this place online and reviews were mostly positive. as turtle meat is too exotic for us, we just went for the simple white and black chicken soup.

serving was lightning fast. the yam rice was nice with chunks of yam in it. the fried shallot bits were fresh and still crispy. had a ngoh hiang too. typical cze char standard but serving size was small.

both chicken soups were kinda similar. was expecting them to be super herbal-ly for the price im paying but nope. saltiness almost killed the dish. we had to ask for hot water to dilute the soup. granted the chicken meat was tender, but the star of the dish was supposed to be the soup and disappointing it was.

i would have to say the rice is the best item here. generally, everything here is overpriced and not as nice as i expected them to be. but to each his own since this place garnered quite a number of rave reviews.
