The old school vibes at this homey kopitiam hasn't changed since I first dined here 6 years ago. Sandwiches are done thick toast-style, with lots of fillings to flavour while mains run from Hainanese chicken rice to Sarawak laksa. My favourite is their Roti Jala (RM7.90) served with a warm, hearty bowl of curry chicken. Unlike the franchise kopitiams that give you a mound of potatoes, these guys are generous with the meat. Enjoyed with the thin, soft slices of roti jala and my day is made. For extra protein (just because), get the wobbly Omega Soft Boiled Eggs (RM3.50). A super friendly kakak working solo stands by to take your orders but she can get caught up during busy hours - cut her some slack and chill at your comfy cushioned seat while waiting.
