Ryo Sushi offers a well constructed Omakase menu at a very reasonable price.

The 15-Course Omakase Menu (SGD 68) offered Hijiki Seaweed Salad, Edamame, Truffled Onsen Egg, 12 pieces of Assorted Premium Sushi, Hand Roll, Small Chirashi Bowl, and a refreshing bowl of soup.

The seafood was very fresh, as expected. The texture and vinegar balance of the sushi rice was very good (one of the best I've had in Singapore).

They also serve Aburi sushi (flamed/blow-torched), which is a part of their 12-piece sushi presentation. The notable ones were the Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) and the Hotate (scallop) sushi, prepared Aburi style.

Highlights:

- Truffled Onsen Egg - The brine from the Ikura (salmon roe) with the creaminess of warm yolk was a great combination.
