Back for the 2nd time at Lee Fun Nam Kee for their soy sauce chicken. This time around we were earlier and managed to have their noodles and ngo xiang as well. The noodles were springy and tastes good as it is or with the soy sauce chicken. What I really enjoyed was the ngo xiang which had a very crispy bean curd skin and juicy stuffed minced meat and prawn. Though it was slightly crumbly as the meat did not hold well together, the burst of texture and flavor was just delicious! This place is definitely one of the hidden gems in Toa Payoh I would say.
