Kolo mee is still pretty rare in SG, so I wasted no time in trying it! Soup was typical, with two steam wantons.. Noodles upon first bite tasted slightly on the salty side, but it doesn't affect the overall taste.. It is generally tasty with typical 'jia Xiang kolo mee' flavor and plus! a slight 'indomee' aftertaste.! Noodles slightly thicker than jia Xiang and probably not as 'al dente' and springy' but it's still holds its ground pretty well.. The rest of the ingredients are pretty standard other than my fried wanton being slightly 'Lao hong'😞 I think it's comparable to jia Xiang plus at $4, it's definitely a much cheaper alternative!
