Pad See Ew or Thai stir fried soy sauce noodles is an extremely popular Thai street food dish. Whereas pad thai has a sweet and nutty flavour, pad see ew is meant to be salty and packed full of wok hei.

Thai God's rendition of this dish is less salty than our versions. However, it makes up for this with a strong and bold wokhei flavour. Interestingly, they seem to use slightly larger pieces of flat rice noodles or kway teow which maximises the surface area for charring.

The portion is on the small side but considering the price and location, I would consider as a great option for a quick and light lunch or dinner!
