Clockwise, from leftmost: hotteok, gyeranbbang, strawberry shortcake, matcha Creme brûlée
Most of the dessert section was untouched the whole time we were there. Not just by the patrons, but also by the restaurant staff. This meant that all the desserts had been out for a while and no longer warm (for the hotteok and gyeranbbang).
I had high expectations for hotteok after coming back from Seoul, and the hotteok here was just terrible. Aside from being cold, the pancake skin was thick, dense, and doughy with nary a hint of crispiness. The filling was dry cinnamon powder, and there was no warm gooey honey. Complete disappointment.
Not sure what the gyeranbbang is but it tastes so bad as it’s stone cold.
Probably the only things you should use your calories on are the desserts that are meant to be eaten cold - both the strawberry shortcake and matcha Creme brûlée are found in the chiller section.
