This is... a savoury ice cream with a local twist. Coconut ice cream mixed with sambal chilli paste, and topped with crispy rice and ikan bilis (fried small anchovies).

All traces of coconut flavour in the ice cream was taken over by the sambal and the seafood funk of the ikan bilis. While the combination (in theory) pays homage to the classic local dish Nasi Lemak, it still feels incredibly foreign because it is ice cream?!
