This place completely changed the experience of eating oysters for me. So I usually get my oyster fix during hotel buffets and I thought that the taste would be somewhat similar but woah... completely different ballgame.
The oysters in hotel usually taste more smooth. Thai oysters have more of a chewy mouthfeel and the taste of the seawater is also different (in a good way).
The way of eating Thai oysters - thai chilli sauce, chilli paste and fried shallots also gave it an extra spicy kick and crunch, so I truly enjoyed my experience eating the Southern Thai Oysters here.
Prices range from $17.90nett - $203.90nett (depending on the number of pieces), but per piece will cost about $8+.
