Thick toast comes served in the presentation pictured, then dissected by the staff carefully after you are done with all the photo-taking by moving the top layer down revealing the insides and it is ready to eat after smothering all the sauces and ice-cream before eating. This version comes with Matcha sauce and Vanilla Ice-Cream atop with a macaron shell for aesthetics. Matcha sauce was of the right proportion of bitter and sweet for the dessert and the whole combination worked really well with the light sweet flavours of the honey toast. The only gripe was the macaron shell that seemed a little bit too soft that it was rather limp.
