Crossing Into Shimonoseki

After crossing the underground Kanmon Tunnel, I arrived at Shimonoseki and explored Mimosusogawa Park, Chōshū Cannon Display, Dannoura Battlefield, Dannoura Ebisu Shrine, and Akama‑jingu Shrine. Then, I came across a dry cleaning shop beside Akama‑jingu Shrine that apparently also sells matcha. Of course, I had to get one.

Iced Matcha Latte (¥600)
The matcha was prepared meticulously. It turned out to be a nice chilled drink even on a rainy day. Sweet, thick and rich in flavour, without being overly powdery. The ratio struck the right balance with the milk, giving it an extra creamy feel.

Thereafter, I strolled along Karato Fish Market, Shimonoseki Tobamamachi Breakwater Lighthouse, Kamon Wharf, and the Arca Port Area before settling down for lunch.
