Food: So. Much. Better. Than. Marriott's. Afternoon tea set (have to take a shot at Marriott because they simply ridic). Everything is nice, my fav with the pulu hitam for sweet and ngoh hiang for savoury. Not a fan of the chendol pudding and the sweet green cream at the bottom left, no idea what's that but too sweet. Their executive chef came around tables to ask for feedback, and we were informed their menu changes every 3 months, and this peranakan theme is the first day today on 1 aug (we were actually here to try the previous menu but oh well). Next one would be festive theme one in Nov, and I'll be back to try. Sad that I missed out the last one though, lychee rose macaron plz come back.

Service: Host and service staff was as attentive as they can since they seem short handed with an almost full lounge. Very polite as well. One thing, first seating for afternoon tea is 1pm, but we ordered at 1.10pm and only received the food at 1.45pm? Its the same for most of the tables which was quite slow service from the kitchen considering we were supposed to clear the table for second seating by 3.30pm. We ordered ala carte after so we sat on longer and it didn't affect my experience, just a point that I noted.

Ambience: I love hotels with their far apart tables and high ceiling, so the noise level is never too loud, nice to chill and chat (esp impt when the waiting time is long HAHA)
