A little side of Sayur Lawar (💵28,000 Rupiah/S$2.80) was accompanied with the skewers that brings together the pungent combination of long beans, grated ginger, grated coconut, garlic and fried onions.
The spiciness does not hit you straight away, it’s more like a slow burning sensation that’s waiting to erupt, not for the faint of heart and you might regret it on your throne the next day but it feels so painfully addicting whilst consuming it.
