Milder touch yet a full aromatic herbal broth makes a hearty Bak Kut Teh bowl, typically extra comforting over gloomier weather 😌 •

Since I like to go with leaner meat for my Bak Kut Teh, it gives a solid reason to add on stewed pork leg on the side - mix of meat, fats and skin with thicker sweet dark gravy that makes a great cross over with the meat from the almost transparent like BKT broth •

Like any Chinese meal, there is certainly no harm in adding on more dishes to feast on; crispy fried fish, steamed egg and stir fried fresh vegetables with dried shrimp on the side •
