From Drury Lane's latest branch at Biopolis that replaces the HQ of Gorilla Press — this outlet had been running for a couple of months and also serves as the roastery that for all the other branches they run.
Unlike the Tanjong Pagar branch, the outlet here serves up simple brunch fare; mostly toasts with spreads or with eggs or avocado. Went with the classic Eggs Royale and thought it was pretty decent and also affordable at $10; perfectly poached eggs with oozy yolk, a creamy Hollandaise and savoury slices of smoked salmon atop a crusty toast that is fluffy, light and carries a little tension for the chew — only thought that the crust is a little stiff and tends to fight back with the cutlery a little. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent option; really liked the minimalistic environment here with the metallic tables and bright interior — it's also pretty quiet here during non-peak periods so it doubles up as a good spot to work at considering they do provide WiFi here too!
