Aside from hot food, this pretty cafe serves up big slices of cakes and aromatic tea. After a long discussion -blame it on my fickle mindedness- my friend and I ordered the Strawberry Sponge Cake and the famous Crêpe Cake. The former is layered with moist and airy vanilla sponge, big sweet slices of strawberry (yay to 🍓 season!) and lightly whipped cream. The latter includes about 12 layers (yes, I counted. Haha!) of thin crêpe, light vanilla chantilly cream and fruits (strawberries, banana, kiwi). And it was the first time i was served a knife alongside the crêpe cake! So you can imagine the size of it! Both cakes were equally delicious and were neither too sweet nor rich. I honestly wonder how these Japanese create these kind of magical treats. I still constantly dream about them.
