So apart from the usual white udon, there's the green udon which is made with Uji Matcha from Kyoto and red udon which is made with korean chilli powder. If you eat the green udon alone, you won't really taste any matcha. If you eat the red udon alone, you'll get a rather spicy feeling in your mouth. And if you eat any of the udon along with the chilled dashi sauce, all three types of udon will taste like plain udon because the sauce will wash the taste of chilli or whatever little matcha there is. Oh well, it's an interesting addition to an instagram feed i guess. And Udon Kamon's other offerings are better la, the portion sizes are huge and the udon is good
