Pizza on a Sunday night? Anyday, anytime for me! โœŒ๐Ÿป Just not Monday since @sundaypizzas are closed every Monday, Monday blues perhaps? ๐Ÿ˜… Coming in a large pan size that feeds 2-3 person, this seasonal flavour comprises of a basil pesto sauce instead of the usual tomato or cream base, topped with shrimps, capsicums and garlics. The crust was baked to an ideal crisp perfection on its golden brown edges, with a thickness that lies between that of a thin biscuit-like crust to a thick & stuffed one. Topped with a substantial amount of melted mozzarella cheese that elicits a stringy cheese pull factor (swipe to view), the basil pesto sauce provided a pleasant savoury umami note to the tangy, piquant flavour of mozzarella cheese, along with fresh, juicy shrimps and crunchy capsicums. Not exaggerating but this pizza was really impressive and surpassed expectations that I polished off 4 slices at one go without hesitation๐Ÿ˜‹. A complimentary side of pickled vegetables was also served alongside that served as great complement (and counterbalance) to the cheesy, divine pizza .
