Can Soba go well with any soup base? Absolutely! I know from experience since my Mom always takes the soba noodles I buy from NTUC and cooks it with whatever Chinese soup she is making. 🍜

I tried the Miso Soba on a cold rainy evening, perfect weather for piping hot Ramen! Surprisingly there wasn't a queue when I got there at 6pm on a weekday evening. ❄️ The noodles were crisp, char siew was tender and my Favourite was the Ajitama 🍳! Sooo good! The soup though...hmm..i must say, it's an acquired taste.

I love all things truffle - truffle oil, truffle fries, spaghetti with truffle, you get the gist. But truffle oil in Miso soup...not my cuppa tea. πŸ€” Suppose I can't consider myself truffle lover of all time! 😝

Although I didn't quite like the aftertaste of the soup in my mouth, my partner loved it to bits!
Price wise, it's affordable considering it's Michelin starred and in Orchard.
