Grain bowls come in the form of pre-designed bowls called Nourish Bowls, or DIY bowls called Freedom Bowls. My large freedom bowl contained:

Foundation: quinoa
Green: romaine
Protein: tofu
Sides: hard boiled egg, sundried tomatoes, broccoli, corn kernels
Crunchie: spiced chickpeas
Dressing: kaffir lime aioli
Spices: togarashi, dukkha

Good value for the portion size. The dressing isn’t pictured here. I requested it on the side and didn’t use it, as the salad was already full of flavour.

My favourite ingredients were the firm tofu and the sundried tomatoes, which are an uncommon option in grain bowls. Interestingly, the spices are free, and you can request for none, one or both of them. I requested for both as I had no idea what they were. Togarashi has some chilli flakes mixed in, but it’s not overly spicy. Both had a great umami kick.
