This is my first time trying @montanasingapore Black Velvet Waffle and I think it's one of the better waffles in Singapore. The black colour did not (only) serve as novelty purposes, but came as a result of sesame used in making the batter. Meanwhile, the black miso caramel was not overpowerlingly salty and was a creative substitute to the normal salted caramel sauce. All these paired with a scoop of green tea ice cream which I really enjoyed made up one of the best waffles in town, not to mention the crispy and fluffy texture of the waffle. Oh, and you can choose black sesame ice cream instead if you want a stronger sesame-waffle experience!
