Here's how I did the lava eggs #溏心蛋 on the spot, without having to chill it overnight.

Just one fresh egg of 60g at room temperature.
Method :
1) Place the egg in the fully submerged water in a small pot.
Boil the water together w the egg in it and let it cook for 7 mins.
2) At the same time, place a bowl of water in the freezer.
3) Off the flame after 7 mins. Let the egg stay for another 20 seconds approx. before removing and place in the bowl of cold water from freezer.
4) Around 5 mins later, crack the egg very gently and peel off the shells very carefully.
5) Cut into halves and you get a nice lava egg.
