Super crispy and flaky baguette but resultantly on the drier side. The bread did not have much flavour by itself but didn’t quite mind as it allowed the ingredients to shine. The generous loading of meat and pickled vegetables made for a flavourful bite, enhanced by the sweet-sour pickles and bright cilantro.
Bami saigon ($5) comprised pate, pork ham, stew pork, and chicken floss (couldn’t quite distinguish the last element). While tender, the various meats were on the drier side and felt that creamier pate/ more mayo and sauce would have provided better bites.
Bami bbq chicken ($5) included tender grilled chicken coated with a lightly flavoured sweet bbq sauce. Less dry than the former but lacking in the chicken floss and lemongrass element stated on the menu.
