I was never a fan of chee cheong fan - not until I came across this particular store. As its name says, the dish is made freshly on the spot and it is what makes the dish stand out from the rest. The effort really made a difference to the texture and it was especially thin and silky. The sauce and chilli was also generally good with a generous addition of fragrant fried shallots.

We had the prawn chee cheong fan and Chai Poh (preserved radish) version. Although they are innovative with their variations, I would say the original flavours are still the best! The Chai Poh was unfortunately lacking in flavour and they could have gone with more Chai Poh. The prawn definitely fared better and I will go for this one in the future.
