A modest bowl with a surprisingly tasty poké topping! Choose sushi rice, red/brown rice or salad as your poke bowl base - I went with a mix of both sushi & red/brown rice. Makai has a variety of seasoned salmon, tuna and tofu on their permanent menu but I went with a seasonal special of seared shoyu scallops + ikura (at no extra cost) which was nicely seasoned and delightfully salty. All this comes with an assortment of vegetables and a little scoop of guacamole (what?). Definitely worth the price.
