I’ve been reliably informed by Google that seiro in Japanese refers to a bamboo steaming basket, so now I know what Kaiyo’s Iberico Pork Yuzu Seiro Set is. ⠀

The flavours were fabulous, with the refreshing zest of the Yuzu sauce on the pork cutting through the smoky, fatty richness of the iberico pork. The rice was nice and well steamed with each individual grain of rice being sticky and satisfying, but there wasn’t much of it to go around as the portion size was on the small side

Frankly, I was expecting a bit more from this set considering that it is $22.90++. The flavours are definitely decent & the quality of the food is undeniable, but it’s just somehow lacking in the final third.
