After procrastinating for a semester, I decided at 8am that I will just take a morning run to the Bak chor mee stall at west coast (running with a goal of shiok Bak chor mee in mind is really motivating). I finally found it at BLK 710 at the west coast area. This one opens from 630 onwards and they have a new branch just at BLK 713 at opens at 1130 onwards. I guess the demand was really too high. At 835 in the morning I still had to wait around 8 mins for my turn but the Japanese was already cooking two bowls at one go so it was still pretty fast (at least for me). Now, time for the bcm review. The mee pok was simply, awesome. So thin yet so firm, the noodles will be the main reason I will come back again. When I took a first look at the soup, it seemed pretty bland but it was actually flavorful (maybe still early hence the soup not "old" enough). The meat slices were tender and to my liking, everything felt fresh and tasty (maybe after a run I was too hungry). But surely I will eat this everyday if I live nearby, however it is simply too difficult to get to the place and the total time required to get your hands on this bowl of noodles is just too great for people not living in the west. Still, 9/10 ;)
