@ollie_kitchen_n_bar at @thecentrepoint_sg, set up after the renovations of the shopping centre in Orchard, provides a great cosy spot to chill and have a drink and meal. While my meal took slightly longer than expected, it was worth the wait as the meat was so good and went well with the garlic that’s smothered on top. The other vegetables as well make for a great low-carb meal. 😋

Also had a long black, iced. They heeded my “no straw” request. I also I used the @bamboostrawgirl straw #VarunBYO. Nowadays, just using the reusable straw is seen as bad or not enough. But as we all know, it’s a start and we move slowly, step by step. You never make a baby walk when they’re ready, you never give a child a surgery examination. It’s all about small steps towards a better world, and I am glad that people are seeing that plastic straws are a choice if you are not having health conditions that detriment use of reusable straws. Otherwise if you don’t wish to use a straw at all, by all means drink from the cup as you would at home if possible.
BTW, brought some cute friends and they are here to celebrate this happy lunch. I think they are beavers, though some think they are squirrels. Anyway, for those keen on getting a hold of them, they are available at selected 7-Eleven stores and perhaps others like Fwah or other smaller handphone/box rental shops…bought by chance. .
