For this year, my first mooncake indulgence comes from the popular Mei Jiang Restaurant of The Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. These golden bite-sized, soft pastry egg custard mooncakes are all made by hand, hence there is a limited quantity each year. If you are now in Bangkok, better go grab them soon before it runs out.
