Didn't actually know that Teochew Handmade Pau at Toa Payoh's Blk 127 Market actually has a branch at Tekka Centre and without a queue — definitely a surprise when I was looking for my post meal treat. Siew Mai had this very nostalgic flavour here; the yellow skin itself carrying a distinct flavour as opposed to those that are generally more meaty in flavour that we get at Dim Sum restaurants these days. The meat was also rather finely minced and loosely packed so it doesn't require much effort to chew on. Red Bean Bun was delicious as well; soft, light and fluffy bun with a reasonably sweet red bean filling. Would say that this branch actually holds the standard of the original pretty well!

The big pau is good!!hahahaha!
Eileen Ong but I don't like Big Pau hahaha
Ya..I think you did tell me before..haha.
