I had to wait to get this because it was still being prepared, so I got this bun freshly baked from the oven!

It looks quite different from advertised but I guess this is just a case of Expectation vs Reality. I had to bite deep into it to actually get into the milk tea cream and pearls. I like how the bun was infused with earl grey essence (spot the earl grey specks!) and it greatly enhanced the taste of the fluffy white bread. The pearls, on the other hand, were mushy and soft.

I appreciate how BreadTalk comes up with novel breads from time to time... it keeps their selection of breads fresh and interesting.
