whilst it was deep fried, it was still flakey and moist on the inside without being too oily on the outside. i liked the crisp coating, which went well with the special sauce that reminded me of sweet thai chilli. it alleviated the taste of the fish by adding a tangy note, which made it overall rather impressive. however the sides were mediocre, onion rings soggy and floury + mash potato was bland. at least it was handmade though, which was evident from the texture.
