In my opinion, Sparks is a bakery that serves some simple comfort food for small groups no bigger than 4 persons. However, you know that this place is run by a group of very sincere people who just gave the experience a homely feel. Don't expect barista-brewed coffee or hipster-themed decor, but just a cosy corner of Thomson V One.

If you are here alone or with your date, opt for the seats at the back of the unit. I enjoyed reading a book while having my afternoon tea or post-dinner desserts here.

This Rainbow Checkered Cake is a novelty for Instagrammers as the combination of rainbow colours and the light sprinkle of rainbow rice is somewhat unique, compared to most of the rainbow cakes and cheesecakes that you see out there.
