After the Matcha-Espresso Fusion, Starbucks did it again with the launch of the Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew. Basically three layers of flavours packed in a cup, itโs not only pretty Instagrammable, but also a surprise in the layering of flavours. Of course, the other way of drinking this is to shake well before drinking, just that the taste becomes a bit weird.
Not too sure if I drank it the โrightโ way, but basically I enjoyed drinking this from the bottom of the cup. The butterfly pea layer was relatively sweet and quite pleasant, and when it comes to the lemonade layer it was a bit sour but still much enjoyable. Coming to the cold brew layer, I was not fully pleased with the added bitterness, but the overall utility of the whole cup was still quite positive. In short, I believe everyone will have mixed opinions towards this drink, but for being a non-milk beverage, this is still worth a try.
