A popular spot for prawn noodles in Macpherson, having been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. We ordered the supreme prawn noodles, consisting of noodles (either soup or dry; we had both) and a claypot of broth bursting with umami and packed with ingredients. The prawns were fresh and succulent, the tobiko prawn balls were springy and the lala was sweet, pairing well with the broth. The pork ribs provided much needed bite and meatiness to our meal, but had slightly too much boar taint to our liking. However, this did not distract much from the heartiness of the broth, which was good enough to be a meal by itself!
We also ordered some sides, with the fragrant and sharp taste of the ngoh hiang's five spice complementing the thickness of the broth in particular. Paired our meal with a refreshing cup of lime juice and we had the perfect lunch.
A perfect choice for prawn noodle enthusiasts looking for a modern twist!
