Gathering with a large group means more food to taste, and trust me, we took full advantage of that! This restaurant is an absolute must for reservations; otherwise, you'll be left hunting for a table. Luckily, we booked early upon our arrival in Ipoh, and there was just one table left for us. So, let the feasting begin!

๐Ÿฆ Fried Prawn with Supreme Sauce (RM 170 per 1 Kg) ๐Ÿ˜‹
Oh damn, I might need to check my cholesterol after indulging in these gigantic prawns. They were absolutely delectable! The prawns had a satisfying crunch, and each one was filled with a rich, gooey, orangey goodness. The stir-fry style they used was brimming with umami flavours, meat was tender and shell was easy to peel.

๐Ÿฒ Superior Amaranth Soup (L) (RM 40)
A classic and safe dish to order, you can never go wrong with this one. Cooked with a superior stock, eggs, salted eggs, and century eggs, it's a comforting, savoury vegetable soup.

๐Ÿœ Noodle with Mushroom (M) (RM 38)
If you're a mushroom lover, this dish is a dream come true. The noodles were cooked to al dente perfection and paired beautifully with the mushroomy sauce. It's a mushroom lover's delight!

๐Ÿš Yong Chow Style Fried Rice (M) (RM 35)
Fried rice is a staple to fill the stomach and complement the main dishes. Fragrant and savoury, it hits the spot.

๐Ÿฅฆ Kai Lan with Yam (RM 40)
Crunchy Kai Lan cooked with rolled yam offers a starchy and savoury combination that's delightful on the palate.

๐Ÿ– Jiang Nan Style Deep Fried Pork Belly (RM 48)
This one's a crispy delight! The pork belly is fatty, juicy, and thinly sliced for that extra crunch. The sauce is delicious and coats every piece perfectly.

๐Ÿ— Salted Egg Chicken (RM 49)
While the salted egg exterior coating the chicken skin was delightful, the chicken meat inside was a bit disappointing. It seemed overcooked and turned out dry and tough, which was a letdown.

๐Ÿ– Mongolia Spare Ribs (RM 55)
Unfortunately, our stomachs were quite full from the other dishes, and this one came out last. The meat was tender and soft, but the sauce didn't quite scream "Mongolian" to us; it tasted more like black pepper, with a strong pepper flavour.
