With charred onion puree at the base, topped with kelp crumbs and a savoury meringue, the XL Clams and Mussels have this umami sweetness in them which makes it really appetising.
The Chilli Crab Rissoto is cooked al dente, the rich and intense chilli crab flavour and abundance of fresh crabmeat sprinkled on it makes this the standout dish for the day.
The barley Pannacotta was both a palate cleanser as well as a toothsome end to the scrumptious meal. Paired with coffee crumbs and berries, it was a lovely blend of different flavours and texture of the various ingredients.
We also tried one of their signature dishes, the Roasted Black Grouper is grilled till the skin turns golden brown and has a light crisp. It is then simmered in mussel vichyssoise, a soup made with potatoes, leek and pickled shimeiji with a hint of garam masala
