Intrigued by the article posted on the shop front by food bloggers , I knew I had to give this a try .
I like that real red beans are used instead of the usual kidney beans that are used in other places.
Whampoa’s beancurd at clementi central market and / or Kallang old airport market still scores the best for its perfectly silky texture but this beancurd from pure soya bean is also good and pretty above average .
Paired with creamy red beans , this makes it a hearty dessert .
Remember to ask for no sugar as the red beans are already sweetened .
