Ya Kun serves one of the best kaya toasts in Singapore! I love the thinly sliced crisp toast filled with great kaya and butter slabs; their steamed bread is really soft and delicious as well.

I feel that the quality is dependent on the outlet though. The food prep people at the Raffles Place outlet make good toasts but in some outlets, the toast is either not crisp or the kaya to butter ratio is off. But most of the time they get it right, thankfully!
