Tip to cooking a good economical fried #beehoon : use only chopsticks to stir the vermicelli, no spatula !
#Recipe:
One serving of bee hoon
1 tsp minced garlic
A handful of beansprouts
1 tbsp oil
150ml water
Some diced spring onion (for serving)

Seasoning:
1 tbsp light soya sauce
1 tsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch of peppep
A little fish sauce

Method:
1) soak vermicelli for 10mins and drain.
2) add oil to a pan and stir fried minced garlic until fragrant.
3) add the vermicelli followed by the water and all the seasoning except fish sauce.
4) use chopsticks and stir to mix well.
5) when water is reduced, add beansprouts. Mix well.
6) when vermicelli is almost dried, off flame and garnish w diced spring onion. Tuck in !
