With origins from Sin Kee, the famous chicken rice at Margaret Drive, this stall is now run by Ms Cheong, whom is one of the apprentices of Mr Niven Leong, the son of the original founder of Sin Kee, and she has taken over the reins from the previously named Uncle Chicken Rice to now Sin Kee Simpang Bedok.

The chicken thigh was smoked in applewood and lemongrass, which comes served with juicy cherry tomatoes as well as buah keluak sauce at the side that was addictive and gratifying to have!

Sio ba peng, its not the crackling kind of roasted pork but more of the chewy kind.
