Over at Cafe Mosaic at Carlton Hotel Singapore, the restaurant has reopened with a “Truly Singapore Flavours” seafood buffet and set lunch promotions.
We sampled the “Truly Singapore Flavours” seafood buffet ($118++ per adult, $38++ per child) that is available every Friday to Sunday starting 6 May. The all-you-can-eat seafood buffet features a live station of freshly shucked oysters and self-service stations of king crab legs, black mussels and poached prawns. Over at the hot mains, diners can enjoy local favourites such as salted egg crayfish, wok-fried teriyaki pork belly and even a carving station with slow-roasted pepper crusted OP beef and oven-roasted herbs leg of lamb. There is even the Singapore laksa that is made fresh upon order.
What I truly enjoyed is that we get to make our own Singapore Rojak with all the ingredients like youtiao, taupok, turnip, cucumber, pineapple and condiments of sambal chilli, prawn paste and crushed peanuts all ready for you to pick how much you want before giving it a good mix.
