Definitely more hype than substance. The food wasn't bad. But it wasn't amazing either. For $24, I wanted the Breakfast Ramen to have been outstanding. The broth was a little too sweet but it was still quite tasty.

For $28, I wanted my Bento Breakfast to have been a little bit more Japanese (it had bacon and eggs, mushrooms and avocado!). Not a standard big breakfast put into a bento boxes. Apart from the fried Onigiri and seaweed tossed into the greens, I felt cheated.
I'm happy to pay for hype provided if the food is good and authentic. I get grumpy when hipsterville dishes me up inauthentic expensive food which I can cook at home.
