Est.since 1991, this popular warabimochi has opened its first outpost in Singapore in April (for this cuppage plaza outlet that we decide to try). We queued here about <15 mins on weekday (not too bad, eh?😃) We ordered box of 5 warabimochi only (No desserts or drinks). They gave us a pair of chopsticks and bamboo pick along with kuromitsu syrup made from pure 100% brown sugar from Okinawa.
Biting the first piece and we both agree this is no ordinary one. It's light, fresh and bouncy (not chewy or stiff like other commercial ones). The roasted kinako soybean powder are plenty and coat the whole warabimochi nicely. We will let you decide when you try. It's definitely in a must try snack list for us! 💯
