Tickled by my friend and a popular food blogger's fb post. I told myself I have to try this stall!!! 2 queues were formed right in front of the stall, one is for placing order and payment with the stall helper and the other is after payment collection of food. I naturally went for the $8 fish maw soup with noodles. I must admit that queuing does makes the food LOOKS better! Hahahaha.... My order came in 2 separate bowls, one for the ingredients and soup, the other solely for the noodles and mushrooms. As a Chilli lover, mine is extra Chilli, however I realized the uncle added ketchup in every order, so the noodles tasted strange to me. Well....strange for Bak Chor Mee at least, might have worked well for Wanton Noodles. Generous amount of ingredients, fish maw, liver, pork ball, fish balls, dumplings, sliced pork, minced pork, seaweed, egg, all nicely tucked into a decent sized bowl. I didn't have the feeling I was eating BCM, but honestly I did get the feeling of having 小碗面. Maybe as a smoker, my tastebuds is different hence I find the stock a little blunt. Personal opinion and not to offend anyone - nothing to scream about. I must however give it up to 肥熊, this is yet another creation of Fei Xiong Group, from simply fried economic noodles or bee hoon to curry rice and now to BCM revolution, it finds the bull's eyes in most of us. Well done! Yumminess: 2.5/5
