For breakfast I had heart shaped macarons from #coffeeclub! Still puzzled by how they created these perfectly shaped hearts. The macarons come in two flavours: Muddy Mud Pie (in red colour, inspired by their house special namesake) and CNY Pineapple (in pink colour, east-west fusion of piña colada, passionfruit and pineapple purée). I found the chocolate one delightful but there was nothing which stood out from the other chocolate macarons out there (except for the shape). The pineapple was quite delectable. The tanginess of the pineapple purée offered a sharp contrast to the sweetness of the shells. However, the purée becomes increasingly hard to to bite as you finish the macaron. Thus, leaving you with more filling than macaron.
