Tried out the famous Lai Huat sambal fish and was disappointed to find that the sambal looks more shiok than it tastes.

Tried out the famous Lai Huat sambal fish and was disappointed to find that the sambal looks more shiok than it tastes.

The fish was dry too. I enjoyed the crispy baby squid but I doubt i'll be returning just for that.

In order of my favourites at Lai Huat Signatures: Sambal Fried Fish, Seafood Mee Sua, Cai Po Beancurd, Double Combination Chicken (Without going into the description of each of them) The sambal fried fish stole my heart today for its extremely tasty sambal chilli and the superbly fried fish which made me unable to resist chomping through the bones and head.
