Moc Quan is of our go-to place for Vietnamese food in town. It is affordably priced and the food is good.

We have not been there in quite awhile but the restaurant seemed to have tweaked their recipes quite abit. The baguette used for their bahn mi used to be too hard for my liking but it is now soft and fluffy, just the way I prefer. They also incorporated more pickled vegetables into their banh mi which gives it more layers of tasting profile but I wish they didn't reduce the amount of meat used.

Likewise, for their bun thit nuong, they have included more garnish (less cucumbers pls). They have also reduced the sweetness of the marinade for the pork (which is good). I am however a little ambivalent about their introduction of chilli into their sauce as it was a little too spicy for my liking.

Mixed boat of changes but I can't decide if I like or hate them!
