Just about 2 min walk from Rochor MRT Station, @nanyang_culinary_club is a cozy dine-in cafe where you can expect to be treated by heritage decor and local xinyao music from the 70s! Their signature dishes include salt baked herbal chicken from @pokpokkeh.bubuji and traditional Hakka YTF soup with added collagen benefits.☺️
Here’s what we enjoyed…
👉Original Pink Salt Kampung Chicken (Dang Gui) - SGD32
👉Collagen Hakka YTF Noodle Set for 4 (24 pcs) - SGD32
Wrapped in waxed paper, their salt baked chicken definitely stood out for us in terms of taste and texture. Packed with flavour, the meat was pretty much fall-off-the bone tender and juicy.😋
The Hakka YTF Noodle Set was yummy too! Love their handmade yong tau foo which are generously stuffed with a mix of minced pork, fish paste, carrot and water chestnut. I must say their noodles were really well-executed!😬
Be sure to try their popular concoction of old-school Nanyang-style beverages too such as Kopi-cino, Milo-cino and Bandung-cino! Really 👍
